Vision and mission

The Network of Regional Centres of Excellence is a regional initiative created by the West African Power Pool (WAPP).

The initiative strives to pool means and resources with the objective to qualify and empower energy players to meet the challenges of operating and developing the West African electricity sector.

Unique and innovative in its kind, the network is made up of five Training Centers from different West African countries, which offer capacity development courses that address current and future needs.

Ensure the development of human resources to guarantee the reliability of the technical and financial operations of the West African electricity and industrial sector, as well as the sustainability of WAPP programs and projects

To ensure that all stakeholders in the electricity market achieve standards of excellence that will enable them to meet the current and future needs of the electricity and industrial sector in West Africa
