Created in 1968, the Vocational Training and
Development Center (CFPP) of Calavi in Benin is the first operational link of
the Benin Electricity Community (CEB), an inter-state institution and
international public institution born from the desire of the States of Benin
and Togo to cooperate in order to manage the electricity sector in the two
territories in a spirit of integrated public service. Built on an 11-hectare
estate, the CFPP is located in the commune of Abomey-Calavi, about twenty
kilometers northeast of Cotonou. The mission of the CFPP is the identification,
preparation and implementation of professional and continuing education
sessions for the benefit of the electrical and industrial sector as well as
consulting and scientific research work in the fields of electricity and the
environment
