Since 1979, the Vocational Training and Development Center (CFPP) of the National Electricity Company of Senegal has been training agents of Senelec, national companies and companies in the sub-region operating in the field of energy.

The centre is located within the perimeter of the two Cap des Biches power plants, namely the C3 power plant and the C4 power plant. 

The area of the centre is 18 hectares. The mission of the CFPP is to contribute to the training and strengthening of the technical and professional capacities of SENELEC agents, local companies and the sub-region. It also has the mission of promoting research and technological innovation within SENELEC in collaboration with universities and engineering schools.

Created in 1968, the Vocational Training and Development Center (CFPP) of Calavi in Benin is the first operational link of the Benin Electricity Community (CEB), an inter-state institution and international public institution born from the desire of the States of Benin and Togo to cooperate in order to manage the electricity sector in the two territories in a spirit of integrated public service. Built on an 11-hectare estate, the CFPP is located in the commune of Abomey-Calavi, about twenty kilometers northeast of Cotonou. The mission of the CFPP is the identification, preparation and implementation of professional and continuing education sessions for the benefit of the electrical and industrial sector as well as consulting and scientific research work in the fields of electricity and the environment

The CME, created on March 6, 1970 and operated by the CIE (Compagnie Ivoirienne d’Electricité), is based in Bingerville, Côte d’Ivoire. It is an international center of excellence for industrial training providing continuing education, diplomas and certifications.

CME's vision is to become a center of excellence for successful electrical and industrial sectors. 

 Based in Bingerville, Ivory Coast, the CME is an international industrial training center providing continuing education, diplomas and certifications. The CME has obtained HR Excellence certification and the “centre of excellence” label from the Association of African Electricity Companies (ASEA). It is also the only center to have obtained SERECT certification for High & Low Voltage Work.
