Since 1979, the Vocational Training and
Development Center (CFPP) of the National Electricity Company of Senegal has
been training agents of Senelec, national companies and companies in the
sub-region operating in the field of energy.
The centre is located within the
perimeter of the two Cap des Biches power plants, namely the C3 power plant and
the C4 power plant.
The area of the centre is 18 hectares. The mission of the
CFPP is to contribute to the training and strengthening of the technical and
professional capacities of SENELEC agents, local companies and the sub-region.
It also has the mission of promoting research and technological innovation
within SENELEC in collaboration with universities and engineering schools.
