Network of Regional Training Centres, made up of five electricity training
centres (3 francophone and 2 anglophone), took part in the 17th eLearning
Africa Conference, held from May 29 to 31, 2024, in Kigali, Rwanda.
As part of the program, the network implemented a collaborative workshop on
innovative cooperation strategies in the West African energy sector.
The initiative demonstrated how the five centres, despite linguistic and geographical barriers, are working hand in hand to:
- Develop high-quality capacity-building programs,
- Provide courses accessible in English and French,
- Leverage digital tools and a shared LMS platform to deliver training to a wide community of electricity sector stakeholders
This collaborative approach illustrates the network’s key role as a regional catalyst for knowledge sharing, pedagogical innovation, and skills development in the West African energy sector.
