In today’s world, flexible and accessible learning opportunities are crucial. With the support of ProCEM, the WAPP Regional Training Centres Network has launched an ambitious eLearning program designed for energy sector professionals in West Africa.

The initiative is built on a comprehensive eLearning strategy and the creation of specialised teams (content development, graphic design, animation scripting, and quality assurance). These teams ensure interactive, engaging, and high-quality courses tailored to the regional power market’s needs.

In addition, administrators have been trained to manage the Learning Management System (LMS), which currently hosts 14 online courses on key topics for the West African power sector. These courses are in the final testing phase and will soon be made available to utilities, regulators, and policymakers.

This challenging but forward-looking approach enables the network to independently develop eLearning content and manage the platform, ensuring sustainability and continuous improvement.
